Nouvelle-Aquitaine is one of the so-called Demonstrating Regions with Cantabria (Spain), Central Jutland (Denmark), Porto (Portugal) and West Flanders (Belgium). They are contributing to the project by implementing and evaluating nature-based solutions, and by identifying the barriers and enablers to their replicability in the three Replicating Regions: Cávado in Portugal, East Flanders in Belgium and Friesland in the Netherlands.
The project is coordinated by Deltares, a Dutch research institute.
